The future growth of the Internet will prominently feature the INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT). The Argentine Chamber of IoT acknowledges that this phenomenon is of key importance to the future development of Internet in our country. The ARGENTINE CHAMBER OF IOT will be a prime tool to activate the local market of this new industry, detect regulatory and legal aspects that might emerge to be addressed, enable contacts between offer and demand of IoT solutions, promote awareness about all the verticals of this industry, and fostering the outreach and promotion of IoT as a new source of Internet growth in Argentina.
Mission, vision, objectives
Create a hub representing this sector, with the participation of public and private entities, including government entities, private and public companies, cooperatives, academic entities, and scientific organizations interested in the development, research and deployment of Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence; its usage, management, and technological and production processes; as well as the advantages and benefits for users and the community.
Generate a forum for the discussion and exchange of information about products, services, national and international applications that may contribute to the development, research, and deployment of Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence in Argentina.
Organize events, seminars, symposiums, conventions, exhibitions, and workshops on Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence, as well as provide courses, content and trainings in technological, technical, commercial and legal aspects related to the development, research and deployment of Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence.
Negotiate and sign agreements, alliances and different cooperation and exchange mechanisms with national, regional, and international, public or private entities, for the development, research and deployment of the Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence.
Affirm, foster, and defend the views and interests of its members and develop public standpoints supporting the development, research and deployment of the Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence before national, provincial, and municipal authorities, as well as represent its members before regional and international, public or private entities, related to the development, research and deployment of the Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence.
Provide its members with services that enable the development, research, and deployment of the Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligences in Argentina.
Tools to activate the IoT market
The ARGENTINE CHAMBER OF IoT fosters the empowerment of the IoT projects that might be generated by its members. To that end, it becomes the continuity of previous IoT Marketplace, operating since 2016 in CABASE, carrying on its tasks through different tools to activate the market:
Identify precise commercial opportunities that would otherwise lack visibility and generate agreements with other solution providers both in Argentina and abroad.
We facilitate the coming together of supply and demand of solutions in this industry, contributing to the deployment and implementation at final users.
Presentations to Authorities. Participate in Meetings and Public Consultations, Lectures, seminars, courses, and all kinds of training and outreach activities.
Postings in social means of communication.
Market research and study.
Cooperation agreements with national and international entities.
Internet of Things – IoT
The Argentine Chamber of IoT considers that this technology is the new expansion in the use of the Internet, a phenomenon of key importance in full growth that will change the development of the Internet in our country.
At first, it was the Internet what vastly impacted our daily lives in full force. Originally, the Internet’s advantages, uses and benefits had to be explained to the end user. Now everyone knows to what end and how to use the Internet.
When it comes to IoT, we perceive that history repeats itself: the technology, applications, and solutions are spreading in the market and users need to be familiar with them in order to adopt them. This is what the Argentine Chamber of IoT is dedicated to.
Regulatory and legal aspects
The Argentine Chamber of IoT works to detect regulatory and legal aspects, and to inform its members of any news regarding them, and it will foster the creation of communication channels with regulators, governments, and other actors related with the education, planning, project leadership, programs, and eventual regulation.
